Dr. Lauren McKay graduated from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in 2019 with her Bachelor’s degrees in Molecular Cellular Biology and Animal Sciences. She matriculated over to their College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctorate in 2023. Dr. McKay has a passion for soft tissue surgery, animals with anxious or fearful tendencies, as well as public education and safety. In her free time, Dr. McKay enjoys spending time with her husband as well as their new puppy Oobleck, black cat named Lou, and her 4-year-old Ball Python.
